Halloween at the Waldorf

Halloween at the Waldorf

Ask anyone in Vancouver and they’ll tell you that Arrival Agency Halloween Parties are nothing short of legendary. From the Waldorf’s grand opening party in 2010, which was free for some strange reason, to the 2011 version, which included a 16-storey Drop of Doom carnival ride, to the 2012 instalment, which featured giant haunted maze, all bets are off. Other attractions over the years included haunted hotel rooms, an erotic holographic theatre, a carnival midway that featured games created by local artists, a titillating soho bedshow, a zombie fashion show, and a Dinner for the Dead that featured a Oaxacan feast and a sacred performance ritual performed by Emilio Rojas. Other artists and performers over the years involved in these legendary blow-outs include Animal Bodies, Cherchez La Femme, Dandi Wind, David Wisdom, Ice Cream Social, Joyce Collingwood, Kurt Dahle, Lady Miss Kier (Deee-Lite), Mandy-Lyn, Maria in the Shower, Max Ulis, Paul Wong, Paul Wooldford, Phil Western, Rodney Graham, Ronan Boyle, Stan Douglas, Tropidelica, Vampire Bats, and countless others.
